Bankole Kayode has hinted that he wants to maintain his number one spot in the team and increase the number of clean sheets in the ongoing Nigeria National League Season.
Speaking to RSFC Media, the shot stopper said he is quite happy to have eight clean sheets in the first round, and he hopes to continue in good form when they take on FC One Rocket on Sunday in the opening game of the second round.
“It is a privilege for me to be the goalkeeper with the highest number of clean sheets in the first round of the season, it is not my making alone and I must appreciate my coaches and fellow teammates for helping me to achieve this feat.”
“I will continue to work hard, I want to be the best goalkeeper in the league and I know it is doable. It might not be easy but with the cooperation of my teammates and the correction from my coaches I know I will succeed.” Bankole assured.
