Remo Stars Football Club (RSFC) Midfielder, Qudus Akanni has revealed that his side will excel in the matchday 18 fixtures against Niger Tornadoes in the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
The Sky Blue Stars make a trip to the far North to take on Niger Tornadoes in their adopted home ground, Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.
Speaking with RSFC Media, the agile midfielder, Qudus Akanni says that they are battle-ready take on the Ikon Allah Boys on Saturday evening, 12th of March 2022.
“Honestly, I know it is not going to be an easy game considering the position of Niger Tornadoes in the ongoing NPFL, they are a good side, but I am surprised at the position in which they are presently.”
“We are not going to play them based on their position, but we will play them as one of the best sides in the NPFL, they have just been unlucky in their previous games.”
“Kaduna is not new to us now, it is the second time we will be playing on that pitch, we played out a 0-0 draw against Kano Pillars here, and we are hopeful of getting something here again.”
“We will try our best possible to return to Ikenne-Remo with at least a point because we are determined not to lose the game on Saturday.” Qudus Akanni.
