Nasarawa United and Remo Stars FC will be meeting for the fourth time in the NPFL after the previous three meetings have seen the Sky Blue Stars win one, drawn one and lost one in the NPFL.
In 2017, Nasarawa United defeated the Sky Blue Stars 3-1 in Lafia Township Stadium in Nasarawa State. Abdulrahman Bashir got the first goal for the Solid Miners, Abdulrasheed Awoyemi levelled for the Sky Blue Stars before Douglas Achriv doubled the lead his side in the 70th minute and Emmanuel Makama made it three from the penalty spot.
The reverse fixture saw Eric Dufegha score to give Remo Stars all three points when they both met at the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu.
Both sides met in the first round this season at the Remo Stars Stadium but it ended goalless between them.

Enyimba have garnered seven points in their last five games and have won their last 2 home games by two goals margin against Shooting Stars of Ibadan and Heartland of Owerri, the Sky Blue Stars on the other hand have also managed seven points from their last five games, they have picked just a point from their last three away games.
The host will want to continue their wins at home but might look a bit different for them because they are playing their home game away from the Lafia Stadium in Nasarawa State, while the Sky Blue Stars will hope to pick at least a point also in that game to booster their chances of getting a slot in the CAF competitions.
The Sky Blue Stars should be battle-ready to face the likes of Umar Danlanmi, Abdullahi Aliyu, Sunday Okereke, Osas Okoro and the host of others.
A win for Remo Stars will further boost the confidence of players keeping tabs on Rivers United, Plateau United and Enugu Rangers who are currently on top of the league table, a draw will be a fair result while a win for Nasarawa United will help them climb the NPFL table.
