Remo Stars Football Club (RSFC) forward, Sikiru Alimi has disclosed that he is delighted to have joined the Sky Blue Stars after the 1-0 victory over Rangers International in the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne-Remo
Sikiru Alimi scored what was the only goal of the encounter in the first half to give the Sky Blues maximum point and return to winning ways after a defeat last time out to Abia Warriors.
“I’m really glad and very happy with the goal, been the only goal of the game and giving us victory over almighty Enugu Rangers,” Sikiru disclosed.
“It’s a good thing putting smiles on my coaches and the entire fans of Remo stars faces, the match meant alot to them and also the players,” he added.
Remo Stars currently sit in 3rd position, one point ahead of Rangers who now drop to 4th after the defeat and Sikiru has warned clubs that underrating them would be risky.
“Playing with Remo stars is different with playing with other NPFL club and I’m glad I made the decision of joining this great club and project, there’s still much more to come from Remo stars believe me,if you underrate them at your own risk,” he concluded.
