Remo Stars would kick start their February run of 2022/23 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL fixtures when they welcome Enyimba to the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne on Wednesday.
Following an impressive start to the season with consecutive wins over El-Kanemi Warriors, Gombe United and Shooting Stars, the sky blue stars lost 3-0 to Bendel Insurance in Benin last Sunday.
Speaking ahead of the game, Coach Daniel Ogunmodede said his boys must now put behind them the last result and bid to return to winning ways.
βThe opponent took advantage of our indiscipline in the last game and it cost us a lotβ, Coach Daniel said.
βWe know Enyimba is going to be a big game for us but we would approach this one with the mentality of winning of courseβ, the coach concluded.
Sikiru Alimi scored for Remo Stars the last time Enyimba visited Ikenne in a 1-0 defeat in the 2021/22 NPFL season.
The two teams have clashed seven times in the NPFL with Remo Stars winning once, drawing once and losing four times.
